Chapter 17 - Gen 3 - Lacey

Dad was in a very strange mood today hugging everyone which was unlike him, looking back I think he must have known.

Kai gave me a gift.  It was then I realised what he had been upto all this time down there on the chemistry table.  The gift he gave me was imaginary friend morph potion.

He told me that he wanted to turn his imaginary friend real and now he had the potion to do it and would do it when the time was right.  Releived that I had someone to talk to about my imaginary friend that didn't think I had gone mental we got engrossed talking about our imaginary friends.  It was then that it happened.

I heard Casey scream, she was looking in our direction and when I spun round I could see it was time for Dad to leave us.

By the time the Grim Reaper appeared everyone was in the living room.

Cain had brought Millie Mandarine home with him and unfortunately she had to watch it too.

I was pretty shocked to see my Dad begging, he really did not want to go but his time was up and he had no choice.

His grave now sits out in the garden with all the other family grave stones.

Rocky was really upset over my Dad's death and even though I too was really upset, I had a bigger worry, Dad's death made it all too real that it would soon be Rocky's turn and I was scared - very scared, if there was a way to freeze time, right now I would.

Cain had come out of prom with Lacey as a romantic interest but I did not see any interest there on Cain's half.  She phoned him a lot but she never came home with him and he never phoned her it was all once sided and I don't think Cain was really remotely interested in her, maybe as a friend but not romantically.

Cody moved Jaamal in, this made me pretty nervous with Kai being around.  He always seemed to be lurking around them and I sometimes wandered if Jaamal wasn't having some kinds of feelings for Kai, sometimes you can catch them staring at each other.

It felt pretty strange watching my son with another man, but it is something I will have to learn to get used to.

Cain has decided on his lifetime wish - Physical Perfection, the same one my Dad had.

Cory and Cassey had their birthdays and became young adults.  Cory got the family oriented trait.

I felt a little sad when Cassey got the dislike children trait, she already had the commitment issues trait, Rocky said her and Benji should get on really well both being gay and having pretty much the same traits.

Cory applied for a job at the science fascility which surprised me another one of my children having the same lifetime wish as I had.  It was no surprise for Casey to apply for a job at the theatre, she wanted to be a RockStar.

Graduation day was pretty hectic with so many graduating - Corey, Casey, Jaamal, Kai's boyfriend Mango and Corey's girlfriend Sugar were also graduating at the same time.

After graduation Cody and Jaamal got engaged and started making wedding plans.

I spotted Rocky over by Dads head stone crying.

"What are you doing out here?"

"Thinking"

"You look like you have been crying."

"I am not going to make the wedding you know."

"Don't talk like that!!"

"You know I don't have long."

"Please don't, I can't bear to think about it, I don't want you to leave me!!"

He said he had very little time left - we didn't realise just how little.
The next day he was gone.

My world has just fallen apart.

I am not sure if I was dreaming or if it was real, but the day after he died he came to me

He told me to stop snivelling, forget about him and move on with my life

"Don't waste the rest of your life mourning - live it."

That's easier said than done!!!!

I wish my sims would be a bit more imaginative with their LTW's - they keep chosing the same ones :(

This is where I am putting an end to Lacey's reign.  She completed her LTW the night that Rocky died and as she is so glitchy I can not wait to switch over to the next generation

Chapter 16 - Gen 3 - Lacey

Another one of our children is becoming a young adult.  Cody has his birthday.  Mango's Dad turned up on the doorstep, none of us knew him so I am not really sure why he came round but I suppose it does not hurt to get to know Kai's boyfriends family, even though I am not so sure Kai and Mango are going to go the distance with their relationship, Kai seems to have a lot more interest in Cody's boyfriend than his own.

I am amazed at how like Rocky he is, the only bit of me you can see in him is my mothers yellow eye colour.

Cody graduated with honours and was deemed the most likely to have a large family.  That I am not so sure will happen because after all he is gay.

I always expected Cody to have a career in music and was pretty shocked that he decided differently, he wanted a career in medicine and applied for a job at the hospital.  This was not the only shock that we were about to get.

We was eating and Rocky's phone rang, it was Jasmine who we had not spoken to since she left.  She phoned up to invite us round.  She had a surprise for us.

Jasmine and Caramel are now married and we have grandchildren.  Twins a girl and a boy they called Bertha and Clifton.  Of course this really made Rocky happy, he never expected to live long enough to see any grandchildren.  Rocky was over the moon, but I didn't feel old enough to be a grandparent!!!!

He was in his element, went straight to the babies and thats where he stayed, fussing over them, completely forgetting about Jasmine being there.

He was really excited over his grandchildren.  I get the feeling everyone is going to be shown those photo's.

Cory is still worring me with his odd behaviour.  He spents way too much time sat out in the sandpit alone for my liking!!

"What's up with you Cory?"

"Nothing Cain go away."

"What's the fascination you are always sat out here?"

"Buzz off will you."

Cain tried to talk to Cory but he just ignored him.  Strange child!!!  I am sure he had something on his mind, but what, he would not open up to anybody.

Cody was invited to a party that Caramel was having, so he got to spend time with his new niece and nephew.   Angel was there and they had quite a heated conversation.

Angel and Cody are no longer friends.

Casey tried to skip school again,  She was still in bed at 11am when Rocky went in to make the bed he found her still sleeping.  So she is grounded again.

Pepper came home from school with Cain, but I think she came to spend time with Casey instead of Cain.  But it might be a good sign that Cain is bringing girls home even if it is his sisters girlfriend.

I want another baby but Rocky is having none of it!!!  Not that we have room for one, already having a houseful, but it still does not stop me wanting one.  All Rocky wants is more grandchildren and to see Cody married.

Kai had his birthday and is now a young adult.

He decided ages ago that he was having the same life time wish as mine, he wanted to be a Creature Robot, Cross Breeder so he applied for a job at the Science Fascility straight away.

Casey was grovelling to Rocky to get ungrounded when Dad surprised us all by walking into the kitchen,  he was back from his travels to Jugville.

Cain, never having seen Dad before was a little confused as to who the old fella was.

Dad was really pleased to see that we had managed a child with ugli genes.

Of course as soon as Rocky spotted Dad out came the baby photo's of Jasmines twins.

Dad was back just in time to make Kai's graduation and we all set off to City Hall.  Kai graduated with highest honours, was class Valedictarian and deemed the most likely to save the world.  This I found was quite amusing, how he was going to do this I don't know!!

Rocky was really happy that he had his best mate back - better quality meals for a start!!  Even though they fell out when me and Rocky got together they have slowly over the years got back to being the best mates that they were.

Kai still has his fascination for the chemistry table and spends a lot of hours down in the basement mixing chemicals, I really don't know what he is trying to achieve down there.

A girl came to the door who at first I thought was Sugar, Cory's girlfriend.  She was Sugars younger sister and her name is Lacey like me, she was looking for Cain.  Lacey asked Cain if he would go to prom with her and he said he would, this put a smile on both mine and Rocky's face - a good sign that Cain might not be gay.

Prom day arrived.  Cain went off to his first prom while Cory and Casey went off to thier second prom.  They all had dates, Casey and Pepper, Cory and Sugar and Cain and Lacey. 

Casey for once came back before curfew was over, Cory and Cain however dragged their feet a little Cory was with Sugar and Cain with Lacey.  By the time they came out Curfew time had already gone by.  According to Cain him and Lacey were stuck hanging about waiting for Cory and Sugar to stop making out.

They got as far as the end of the school drive when they got stopped by a passing patrol car.  They both got to ride home in a police car.

They both knew they were in for it when then got in, having seen Casey getting in trouble for police car rides so many times.  It was not me or Rocky who greeted them it was Dad, me and Rocky were already asleep.

They both got a telling off from Dad and grounded.

They both grovelled with him and he ended up letting them off with the grounding as it was their first time, they had been at prom and they both looked sorry.

The next day Jaamal came round to see Cody.  I thought for a while there was going to be trouble as someone had let Jaamal in and Kai was the first one to get to him.  Kai straight away started to flirt with Jaamal, who acted like he liked Kai flirting with him.

Cody soon got in between them to break up whatever was going on.

"Back of Kai, you have you own boyfriend, keep your hands off mine!!!!"

Thankfully Kai walked away and there was no further upset.

Some how I don't think this is over, its obvious that Kai wants Cody's boyfriend and I think its only a matter of time before something is going to happen with the three of them.

Chapter 17

This chapter was pretty boring all Lacey is doing is rolling baby wishes so while she wanders round on free will doing nothing i am having to keep myself amused with the other household members.
Blake was driving me nuts keep coming round and phoning so I decided to move him back into the house - for a few reasons 1. because i want to collect as many graves as possible for this family for my future plans with the last generation of this wishacy :) (100 babies with genetic history) and also more as a preventative measure for me - lacey wants another baby and that's all she can think about - I did consider letting them have another child as a back up just incase Cain does turn out to be gay - but with no guarantee that the next child would be ugly I decided no more babies.
